A series of devastating earthquakes rocked southern Turkey and northwestern Syria, killing more than 35,000 people and injuring hundreds of thousands. We, who have close friends especially in Kahramanmaraş, the epicenter of the earthquake, have been trying to determine the right path by meeting with various institutions and organizations in order to provide the necessary support to those affected by this destruction or to mediate the delivery of this support.
We quickly discussed what we can do by sharing the issue with the McNeel Europe office, which we are affiliated with, and we thought that the right option would be to collect donations through the Nirengi Association, a local charity where we are sure that the aid to be given will reach those in need and whose work we can follow.
In such moments when the borders of countries disappear, we all get closer to each other and speak the same language, and efforts are made to make everything better together. Thanks to the collective power of the Rhino user community, the impact of even the smallest contribution of one person, on the future of a family or a child is beyond what we can we think of.
